Civil Engineer

This is an exciting time for a Professional Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a registered engineer and have years of design experience, excellent communication skills and proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D. The successful candidate will join a team of other professionals servicing a diverse base of clients throughout WV, OH and beyond. This is a full-time position located at any of our four office locations.

General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Perform all aspects of civil engineering design including civil site design (layout, grading, utilities, etc.); engineering analysis; prepare design concepts; calculations and specifications; conduct site investigations and visits; write reports and proposals.

Attend meetings with clients and contractors.

Work with a multi-discipline team of architects, engineers, interior designers, and surveyors.

Participate in team meetings and coordinating efforts with other team members.

Develop discipline specifications for review by the Senior Engineer.

Mentor and collaborate with other designers and engineers.

Review drawings prepared by peers (QA/QC).

Coordinate work product with other disciplines.

Adhere to project budget and schedule.

Prepare estimates of probable costs of construction.

Prepare accurate, complete, and code-compliant drawings and specifications for schematic, design development, and construction document submittals.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited Institution.

Registration as a professional engineer (PE) with the state of West Virginia.

Experience in Land Development and site design is desired.

Proficient familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Strong organizational, analytical, communication and design skills.
