Civil Estimator

We are rapidly growing in the Jackson Mississippi area. We are looking for an experienced Civil Estimator to join our team.

As a Civil Estimator you will be working closely with cross functional teams to ensure completion of proposals within the bid schedule timelines.  

What You Will Be Doing:

Civil Estimator will be responsible for estimating of heavy civil infrastructure projects with different scopes of work including earthwork, grading, pile driving, concrete structures, highway paving, and other civil scopes of work. Provide innovative procurement strategies that ensure direct costs and indirect costs are aligned with the project completion.  Ensuring our proposal packages are submitted within the bid schedule. 

What You Need For This Position:

• Bachelor's Degree in construction management or Civil Engineering is preferred but not required.
• 5+ experience in the Heavy Civil field
• 5+ experience with Estimating Software such as DOT, HCCS, Heavy Bid, AGTEK, OST, and other estimating software
• Knowledge of asphalt paving, bridge construction, concrete structures, and earthwork
• Proven experience in Contract Negotiations

Salary: $130,000 - $140,000
