Job Title: Construction Admin Specialist - Telecommunications

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Admin Specialist with expertise in overhead and underground telecommunications as builds, map editing, and invoicing. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Construction Admin Specialist will have an essential role in managing and coordinating the construction process, from start to finish, including creating, editing, and maintaining construction maps, as builds, and invoicing using Adobe PDF Editor, Microsoft Suite products, Procore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and maintain construction maps, as-builds, and invoices using Adobe PDF Editor and Excel.
  • Ensure all necessary permits are obtained and construction is compliant with local and state regulations.
  • Review and approve project documentation, including invoices and change orders.
  • Conduct quality control checks on construction reporting to ensure work is reported properly and meets customer specifications.
  • Track project timelines and budgets and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead project close-out activities, including final as-builds and invoicing documentation.
  • Manage payroll processes and systems in coordination with as-builds and field reporting.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in construction administration, specifically in telecommunications, is required.
  • Experience with overhead and underground construction and the associated regulations is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe PDF Editor and Excel is required.
  • The ability to read and interpret construction maps and blueprints is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.
  • Knowledge of local and state regulations related to construction is preferred.
