DOT Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced DOT Superintendent - Roadway and Concrete to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction, maintenance, and repair of roads and concrete structures. The Superintendent will need to have a strong understanding of department of transportation (DOT) regulations and be able to manage a team of skilled contractors to ensure quality and efficiency.

Position Overview: The DOT Superintendent - Roadway and Concrete will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction, maintenance and repair of roads and concrete structures in order to meet DOT standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of skilled contractors to ensure the completion of projects on time and on budget.
• Establish and maintain quality control standards for roadway and concrete construction activities.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with DOT regulations.
• Perform inspections and surveys of completed projects.
• Maintain a high level of safety on the job site.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and billing is performed on all projects.
• Maintain accurate records of all construction activities.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in roadway and concrete construction projects.
• Strong understanding of department of transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of skilled contractors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
