CPS Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Estimator to join a well-respected firm in Syracuse, NY. As a vital part of their operation, you will be responsible for delivering precise and detailed estimates for various commercial projects. This role demands excellent coordination with the Commercial Construction Superintendent, direct customer interaction, effective material procurement, and adept negotiation skills, all while ensuring top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster positive relationships among customers, suppliers, yard personnel, and management.
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials for project completion.
• Thoroughly review bid documents, drawings, and specifications for accurate bid preparation.
• Prepare and submit material approval packages.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and design professionals.
• Prepare bids, conduct site visits for estimates, utilize CFS estimating software, and manage material procurement and job setup.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated punctuality and responsibility in delivering estimates on time.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders, including customers and contractors.
• Excellent public relations skills.
• Expert proficiency in reading and interpreting survey maps, project drawings, and specifications with precise measuring skills, accurate to within 1/16 of an inch.
• Ability to efficiently manage time and resources from project start to finish, including thorough paperwork completion.
