Estimator - Glass/Glazing

Job Title: Glassing Estimator Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join a reputable glassing company. If you have experience in estimating glassing projects and a strong understanding of the industry, we want to hear from you. Join our team and play a key role in delivering accurate and competitive project estimates. Responsibilities: * Review project requirements, specifications, and drawings to assess scope and client needs.
* Conduct on-site evaluations and measurements for accurate information gathering.
* Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure understanding and address clarifications.
* Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, considering materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
* Analyze project risks, issues, and contingencies for accurate estimates.
* Present estimates to clients, explaining scope, costs, and considerations.
* Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
* Maintain accurate records of estimating activities. Requirements: * 5+ years of proven experience as an Estimator in the glassing or construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of glassing projects and installation methods.
* Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
* Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and proficiency in estimating software.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
* Comfortable looking at Storefronts, custom glass, doors, windows, railings
* Experience working with $250k-$5 million with $1-2 million as the average
