Experienced Pipe Layer

GPAC, collaborating with a prominent underground construction company, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pipe Laye r to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in underground utilities installation, including water mains, lift stations, storm drainage, gravity sewer, large-diameter pressure pipe, and mechanical piping. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure projects and work alongside a reputable company in the Clarksville area. Responsibilities: Perform skilled work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility pipelines.
Lay and align pipes, typically ranging from water mains to large diameter pressure pipes, according to project specifications and blueprints.
Assist in excavating trenches, backfilling excavations, and compacting soil to ensure proper pipe installation and alignment.
Operate heavy machinery and equipment, such as trenchers, excavators, and compactors, safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and fellow team members to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Pipe Layer in underground utilities construction.
Proven expertise in installing and maintaining various types of underground utility pipelines, including water mains, lift stations, storm drainage, gravity sewer, large diameter pressure pipe, and mechanical piping.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments.
Possession of relevant certifications or licenses, such as OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification, is preferred but not mandatory.
