Responsibilities:

• Design and layout fire sprinkler systems for a variety of commercial and residential projects using industry-standard software like AutoCAD and HydraCAD.
• Conduct comprehensive hydraulic calculations to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with NFPA codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, and specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve seamless project integration.
• Conduct field surveys and verify existing conditions for accurate system design.
• Respond to requests for information and address design challenges efficiently.
• Stay current with the latest fire protection technologies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Designer.
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and HydraCAD.
• Solid understanding of NFPA codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• NICET Level I or higher certification preferred (but not required).
