Heavy & Civil Construction Project Manager

Summary of Position:

• Manage all key client projects including coordination and completion of projects on time and within budget and scope
• Oversee all aspects of project, set deadlines, monitor and summarize project progress
• Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of project are fulfilled

Essential Job Requirements:

• Manage all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion to include budgeting, scheduling, cost analysis, change order management, invoicing and project close out
• Serve as point of contact on assigned projects, performs a variety of highly skilled duties such as assembling, coordinating, and managing multidisciplinary technical review teams
• Prepare and submit job progress reports and facilitate required plan design changes and up-dates budget as needed

Required Education:

• High School or equivalent, college degree highly desired
• Experience in Civil Engineering design and construction
• 2 years of Project Management experience or related field

Required Experience:

• 5 years working in road building, underground utilities, paving, and land development project management. Must be familiar with DOT specification and have experience in both the public and private sectors.
• 3 years PM management
• 3 years land development
• Able to carry out simple instructions in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to handle unexpected situations
• Problem solving, proficient communication skills
