Heavy civil project manager

If you are a Project Manager with Heavy Civil/Highway experience, please read on! We have substantial construction experience in heavy civil transportation (including major highways, bridges, and mass transit systems), public works projects, municipal structures, commercial properties, and private organizations, and we serve both the public and private sectors. We are looking for a Project Manager with experience working on Heavy Civil and Highway projects to join our team in Detroit! What You Will Be Doing As the Heavy Civil Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of projects, including coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring of project progress. You will also be responsible for ensuring that projects adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. This position requires a talented individual who can ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will be a leader, problem solver and collaborator who thrives in a challenging and ever-changing environment. What You Need for this Position

• 5+ Years Project Management experience working on Heavy Civil projects
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar field
• Experience working on highway, roadway, and other DoT projects
• Experience using HCSS, MS Project, P6, and/or Procore
• History of managing self-performed work is required
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Proficiency with scheduling, delegating tasks, budgeting, and negotiating contracts
• Proven track record of leading construction crews to complete projects ahead of schedule and under budget
