Position Overview: Working alongside a Sr. Project Manager to start, the Jr. Project Manager will manage Commercial Construction projects and is responsible for managing day-to-day operations - including cost control, subcontractor management, scheduling, administrative tasks. This includes overseeing and coordinating tasks to ensure project goals are achieved on-time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in creating and executing project plans.
- Provide necessary updates to the Project Manager regarding the construction status and inform of any changes.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and vendors.
- Assist with the selection and procurement of materials.
- Ensure construction safety regulations are followed.
- Help with budget tracking and forecasting.
- Participate in the management of the project closeout.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in project management and/or engineering.
- Previous experience in commercial construction preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, subcontractor management, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and various construction related software.
