Lead Carpenter

Job Description: 

Coordinate aspects of several home residential remodeling projects during the production process while also doing hands on work at each jobsite. Responsible for the quality, timeliness and efficiency of individual work as well the overall project. Focus should be timeliness and cost.  

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Onsite duties include demolition, trim and rough carpentry, cabinet installation, drywall installation/finishing/repair, painting, tile installation/repair, light plumbing and elections 

• Manage several projects at a time, under the supervision of a Project Manager 

Qualifications for this key position include: 

• A demonstrated passion for home remodeling projects 

• A minimum of 3 years of residential construction experience.  Remodeling experience is preferred over new construction, but not required. 

• Knowledge of carpentry and all trades associated with home remodeling. 

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders including the Project Manager, Field Technicians, subcontractors and homeowners.  

• Ability to manage multiple projects in various stages at the same time 

• Understands the importance of being on time.  

• Understands the importance of maintaining a safe and clean job site . 

• Strong detail orientation, problem solving and job coordination skills 

• Basic proficiency with a computer (email, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel) 

• Possess a valid drivers license and safe driving record.
