Lead Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee various civil engineering projects, including site layout, design, and planning.
• Lead a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks.
• Coordinate with local municipalities, utilities, and environmental agencies.
• Conduct site investigations and document existing conditions.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and bid packages.
• Supervise project plans and design calculations.
• Provide solutions during the construction administration phase.
• Engage with existing and potential clients.
• Lead the preparation of technical content for proposals.
• Attend industry and business development functions.
• Mentor and develop local engineering staff.
• Perform project financial updates and revenue projections.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Site and Civil Engineering.
• NJ PE required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to provide constructive guidance to engineers and drafters.
• Understanding and application of local code and permitting requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with other business units.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience.
