Marine Construction - Construction Supervisor

GPAC is looking for a Construction Supervisor that is located in or willing to relocate to the greater Boston, MA area. Someone that has 5-10 years experience with piledriving projects and has experience in a management position during that time.. This position is for a reputable company with great pay and solid benefits. Please only apply if you have experience in Marine Construction.

Responsibilities for Construction Supervisor:

• Be the lead manager on site and assume overall responsibility and authority for all projects. Ensure that all projects are managed and executed in compliance with the contract, specifications, regulations and permits, and all Company policies, procedures, and directives.
• Be 100% familiar with the contract, plans, and specifications (including applicable regulations and permits) and ensure contract and regulatory compliance in operations, administration, and commercial management.
• Actively participate in preparation of changes orders and claims.
• Maintain an accurate schedule and working cost estimates to completion and ensure accurate reporting against the current cost estimate.

Requirements for Construction Supervisor:

• 5-10 years piledriving/Marine Construction experience
• Experience as a project manager/superintendent or other management within Marine Construction
• Self-motivated, able to oversee project team without being told what to do
• Construction management degree (preferred not required)
