Responsibilities


PURPOSE OF POSITION: Experienced Functional Information Services consultant who leads Quality Assurance testing of system enhancements, new systems, and system upgrades. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans, executes, and monitors all testing efforts within Sprint and Release cycles
• Defines test plans for Sprint, Integration and Regression testing
• Participates in application implementations, enhancements, upgrades and functional testing
• Performs analysis of test results, informing teams of test execution and defect status
• Resolves moderately complex issues within a suite of integrated applications without supervision
• Understands business processes and related applications
• Coordinate cross-team testing efforts, identifying testing scope, data, and environments needed
• Contributes to QA continuous process improvements, executing key objectives
• Contributes to team planning and organization
• Helps teams consistently meet deadlines
• Works with minimal supervision, mentors others and may supervise others
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other teams

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline strongly preferred, but consideration may be given to an exceptional candidate with eight years relevant work experience
• At least four years of relevant work experience required

OTHER POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

• Detail-oriented, uses business analysis to ensure complete coverage of testing efforts
• Good analytical, verbal and written skills required
• Participate in continuous improvement events
• Maintain company confidentiality
• Interact with users for system clarifications and requirements
• Write system and process documentation
• Provide user support for Altec associates via phone, email and in person
• Willingness to work outside standard business hours to resolves issues or complete special projects
• Track and maintain constant communication with customer from beginning to end of any established case, issue, or concern
• Remain highly adaptable
• All other duties as assigned.
• Must be willing to travel as needed to perform job duties up to 25%
