Construction Portfolio Loan Specialist

As a Construction Portfolio Loan Specialist, you will play a vital role in administering and monitoring our Commercial Construction loan portfolio. Your responsibilities will include assessing and ensuring compliance with loan documentation and Credit Standards to manage construction risks effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and oversee a portfolio of commercial construction loans from pre-closing to project completion.
- Serve as a resource on TD Construction Loan Credit Standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide high-quality customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various teams during the pre-closing process, ensuring adherence to credit standards.
- Review all construction documentation for compliance and accuracy.
- Analyze funding requests and make recommendations based on project knowledge and policies.
- Maintain accurate records of loan disbursements and project progress.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and guidelines related to construction lending. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Administration, Commercial/Real Estate Lending, or Credit Management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and make recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work with occasional standing, walking, and lifting under 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and concentrate for extended periods. Additional Information:
