Job summary
The Program in Immunology at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a motivated individual to support the development of immunotherapy for cancer. This person will join a team working on a phase 1 clinical trial evaluating a new TCR T cell immunotherapy. Opportunity to learn and work with cutting-edge research techniques.

Responsibilities
• Process and cryopreserve human blood and bone marrow samples. • Evaluate incoming samples using flow cytometry. • Screen patient samples for protocol eligibility and responses. • Maintain meticulous records and report on test results. • Support various projects in the laboratory, including ordering, lab maintenance, and quality control. • Perform in vitro immunology cellular and molecular assays according to protocols. • Learn new techniques as required. • Assist post-doctoral scientists as required. • Analyze, organize, and present data. • Identify methodological problems in research protocols and optimize experimental results.
Requirements
• BA/BS in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related fields. • Scientific knowledge in the area of study and basic laboratory skills. • Independent research experience in addition to school lab experience. • Intermediate level position requiring 2 years previous experience working in a laboratory. • Preferred qualifications include bench research experience, knowledge of molecular techniques, and strong communication skills.
