Job Description - Safety Specialist POST NUMBER:

Vaco Staffing is seeking a Safety Specialist for a client in Kenosha, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients. Main Duties:

Identify various compliance and safety issues, and encourage hazard recognition to support the company to eliminate all at-risk behaviors.
Be a resource of information to employee questions and issues regarding safety
Assist the on-site Safety Team in developing training topics relevant to the job site and actively participating and facilitating safety meetings with on-site supervision and field staff.
Conduct accident investigations and review meetings to determine and communicate root causes for future prevention
Perform weekly Safety Orientations to new employees on the job site.
Complete train-the-trainer courses and provide on the job training to employees as requested.
