Senior Civil Estimator

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Civil Estimator located in Franklin, TN. The Senior Civil Estimator will be responsible for leading the estimating department and overseeing the estimation process for civil construction projects. This includes analyzing project requirements, conducting cost analysis, preparing project bids, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate estimates. The Senior Civil Estimator will also provide technical expertise and guidance to junior estimators and support business development activities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in civil construction and estimation
• Strong knowledge of civil construction processes and work packages including mass earthwork and underground site utilities
• Ability to lead the estimating department and develop/improve SOP's
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools including Agtek and HCSS HeavyBid
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret project specifications and drawings
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional certification or licensure is a plus
• 4-8 years estimating experience preferred.
