Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, subcontractor supervision, and material procurement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure work is executed according to requirements.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor crews to maintain a productive and efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
• Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings, quality improvements, and schedule optimizations.
• Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.
• Conduct regular site meetings to review project status, address concerns, and provide updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Experience with at least two of the following - framing, concrete, finish work supervision, and reading drawings.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, laws and regulations, techniques, and materials.
• Experience running subcontractor meetings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (i.e. climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
