Your Key Responsibilities

• You will be in-charge of the research of survey records, Boundary analysis and base-mapping,

• And legal description analysis, and interpretation.

• You will prepare sketches for survey purposes, prepare maps, plats, and exhibits.

• You will review field notes for completeness and clarity; and other surveying services in support of engineering work.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Land Surveyor or Land Survey Technician, with a minimum of 1 year experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.

• Any experience with MicroStation and/or ArcGIS is a bonus.

• You have a good understanding of field survey methods and calculations, local survey laws, rules, and regulations.

• You have experience performing field boundary, topographic, land title surveys and construction staking.

• You can successfully gather and organize survey research and records, and interpret engineering plans, maps, and documents.

• You have experience or an understanding using GPS, data collectors, total stations, robotics and relevant survey equipment.

• You are availability to travel out of town and overnight when required.
