About the Role:

This is a remote role, working East Time Zone work hours. National Capital Region preferred.

As a CBRE Program Manager, you will execute the strategy and integration of new technologies into our client’s world-class data centers. This includes developing comprehensive technology insertion plans, leading design initiatives, and facilitating collaboration between a technology client’s internal design teams and external design service partners / providers. This position requires a deep understanding of building construction, design programs, and exceptional communication and management skills. This job is part of the Program Management function. They are responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major client initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

+ Program Design Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of program designs, ensuring the smooth

+ integration of new technologies into a technology client’s data centers.

+ Strategic Thinking: Assist in planning and strategy workshops with internal and external stakeholders,

+ facilitating large-scale workshops as needed.

+ Technical Leadership: Collaborate with internal Technical Leads to facilitate design reviews, guiding

+ technical decision-making, and resolving program-level issues.

+ Scope & Contract Management: Develop comprehensive scopes of work for contracts, while gaining

+ buy-in from internal stakeholders. Build cost, schedule, and scope documents for validation of design

+ cut-in strategy.

+ Cross-Team Collaboration: Formulate cross-functional design teams composed of internal and external

+ resources. Manage program change, maintain project scope, and oversee design contracts.

+ Transparent Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external

+ partners to ensure transparency throughout the program design and integration process.

+ Feedback & Reporting: Ensure timely issuance of engineering program information to appropriate

+ parties, track site feedback, and manage weekly design feedback calls.

+ Manage internal and external relationships in support of programs.

+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus

+ and convince others to reach an agreement.

+ Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your own team and other related

+ teams.

What You’ll Need:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering relevant to the built environment (e.g., Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc.), Master’s Degree preferred

+ PE license preferred

+ Minimum 5 years experience in large-scale design programs within the construction industry

+ Preferred minimum 2 years experience with Mission Critical projects

Change Management: Extensive knowledge of change management principles in a program design

context.

Project Management: Thorough understanding of project management principles, practices, and

related technical areas.

Communication: Proficient verbal and written communication skills for complex technical concepts.

Construction Knowledge: Extensive experience with industry construction methods and techniques

Proactive Workstyle: Self-motivated with the ability to analyze and resolve

program-level issues promptly and independently.

Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to focus on multiple projects across

various development phases.

Documentation & Presentation: Experience in writing reports and documents, creating and

delivering presentations to large audiences. Ability to tailor presentations to the audience is a plus.

CBRE Carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this Sustaining Engineering Technical Program Manager New Product Insertionposition is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $140,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
