Title: Tactical Communications Engineer @ Lexington Park ,  MD
Terms of Hire: Full time.
Salary: $ 90-118 K /YR + Benefits Job Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:

• Support system level designs, installation, testing, and certification in aircraft Utilize principles of systems engineering and other engineering disciplines to evaluate, recommend solutions and clarify requirements

Required Skills:

• Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required
• A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline plus eight years of experience or a master’s degree plus six years of experience is required
• Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance Experience with design, integration, testing and debugging of communication systems
• Able to work in a proactive fashion with minimal supervisory oversight
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time to support witness testing events, attend program-level meetings

Desired Skills:

• Experience with troubleshooting communication and RF systems
• Experience working with SETR processes
• Experience with reviewing system specifications and design documentation while providing detailed constructive feedbackMIL-STD-1553 multiplex data bus system testing experience. SNMP testing experience Working knowledge of antenna theory and concepts
• Experience working directly with customers and vendors Experience working with ARC-210 radios Experience with NAVAIR airborne platform integration MS Degree in an Engineering discipline, Electrical Engineering preferred
• Active TS Security Clearance
• Familiarity with NAVAIR working environments and processes
• Willingness to work in a classified lab environment
