Our client, a local General Contractor with a great reputation, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. • Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.
• Obtain and compare quotes for labor, equipment, and materials from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and submit project bids and proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and provide ongoing analysis to improve project performance.

Estimator Job Functions:

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction estimating software.

Estimator Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Estimator position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $125,000, as well as benefits including medical coverage and a 401(k) plan.
