Wet Utilities General Laborer

GPAC, partnering with a leading underground construction company, is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and at least 2-3 years of experience supporting various aspects of underground utility projects, including the installation of water mains, lift stations, storm drainage, gravity sewer, large-diameter pressure pipe, and mechanical piping. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects and work with a reputable company in the Clarksville area. Responsibilities: Assist skilled workers, such as pipe layers and equipment operators, in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility pipelines.
Perform general labor duties, including digging trenches, shoveling and moving materials, and cleaning work areas.
Operate hand tools and equipment under the guidance of experienced team members.
Help with the assembly and disassembly of construction materials and equipment as needed.
Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Requirements: 2-3 years of experience in construction or related field, preferably in underground utilities.
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.
