Develop New Sales Opportunities: Utilize your expertise to cultivate new sales with both current and potential customers in alignment with our channel strategy.
Effective Account Management: Take charge of daily sales activities including calls and customer visits. Develop demand forecasts, execute account plans, and analyze sales data to identify product gaps and growth opportunities.
Customer Collaboration: Be the bridge between our company and our customers. Communicate their needs, risks, and opportunities, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly. Stay on top of industry news and competitor activity to recommend and implement improvement actions.
Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with pricing teams to craft compelling proposals, implement pricing initiatives, and maintain profitability while satisfying customer demands.
Product Development Support: Work closely with product management and technical service teams to identify sales opportunities for new products and ensure existing products meet customer needs. Your technical automotive knowledge will be invaluable in this process. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, with a strong technical understanding of automotive systems; or equivalent combination of a 2-year Associate/Technical degree and 2 years of relevant work experience.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge of engine, automatic transmission, and/or steering systems preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of sales/account management experience in aftermarket automotive and/or related industries. Desired attributes include exceptional relationship-building skills, a sense of project ownership , adeptness in change management , and a drive fueled by urgency and curiosity .
Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Value for Customers: Anticipates, understands and meets internal/external customers’ needs and expectations. Develops solutions based on a customer centric approach.
Innovation: Drives and supports innovative ideas, while taking informed risks to seek and develop new or improved solutions.
Drive & Execution: Proactively identifies what needs to be done and takes action. Explores new ways and pursues new opportunities.
