Aero Alliance Communications Leader

Job Description Summary

In this role, you will find a unique opportunity to help build the story and engagement around the Aero Alliance Joint Venture long-term strategy. You’ll work closely with seasoned leaders across the business and partner closely with our global teams to develop a contemporary brand and communications roadmap. This role will include producing and developing materials for our long-term business strategy, supporting the Executive Leadership Team on their communication and engagement plans, creating a contemporary strategy for our global communications and creating external channels to drive our brand including our website, intranet and marketing materials for recruiting potential employees. If you are skilled at serving as a trusted advisor to leaders, navigating networks to deliver creative projects collaboratively and efficiently, and simplifying complex topics into clear, simple messages that people relate to and care about – we want you on our team! This role reports to Global Human Resources Leader but will partner closely with senior leaders, multiple functions and a global stakeholders. This role can be remote but preferred locations are Houston, TX, Cincinnati, Ohio, or Florence, Italy.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Help develop messaging and content to reach key stakeholders including our internal network and supporting channel partners.
• Produce materials for global engagement including our Quarterly All-Hands Meetings, Messages from the CEO, Monthly People Leader Forums and other initiatives intended to engage and inspire our workforce.
• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team on strategic initiatives, change management communications and functional priorities.
• Develop content for internal and external communication channels including AAJV Intranet, Viva App and LinkedIn
• Partner with external vendor to develop external website, including content, imagery and branding materials.
• Participate and develop communication material for Culture initiatives including the on-boarding framework, external engagement (volunteer ERG and university/industry recruiting) and internal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.
• Manage AAJV Engagement Calendar (CEO/ELT Roundtables, Lunch and Learn Events, DEI monthly sessions, etc.)
• Serve as the focal point for the Community Service/Volunteer ERG (community partnerships, policies and framework, etc.)
• This role can be remote or located at one of our Aero Alliance hubs in Houston, Texas, Cincinnati, Ohio or Florence, Italy

Required Qualifications

For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Communications & Communications Business Partner. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a Bachelors Degree with relevant experience in Communications or Public relations

• Significant professional experience in communications
• Excellent writer and editor with precise attention to detail.

For Roles in the US - Bachelor’s degree, in Communications or Public Relations; advanced degree a plus.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in communications
• Excellent writer and editor with precise attention to detail.

Desired Characteristics

• Familiar or experienced in manufacturing, joint-ventures or start-ups and global environments.
• Proficiency partnering with senior leaders to understand the intent, strategic roadmap and functional initiatives and develop a clear and concise story for both internal and external channels. 
• Demonstrated success managing multiple simultaneous priorities to meet aggressive deadlines with high standards for quality.
• Experience in website design and/or content development, social media communications and branding
• Collaborative partner able to build trusted relationships internally and externally.
• Strong executive presence and comfort interacting across all levels of an organization.
• At ease adapting quickly to new or changing environments.
• Experienced or curious about data analysis and its applications to communications.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is 103,400.00 - 137,900.00 - 172,400.00 USD Annually USD.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for  an Aero Alliance bonus of 15% annually.
