What Customer Billing Services Contributes to Cardinal Health

Customer Billing Services is responsible for proactive research, customer and supplier inquiries, and dispute resolution all with a concentration on customer billing accuracy, acting as a liaison with internal and external key stakeholders. Services multiple customer accounts and/or processes in a fast paced and highly analytical environment.

Responsibilities

+ Work in conjunction with account management team and/or customer regarding invoicing & billing related issues

+ SalesForce case work, including, but not limited to credit/rebills and invoicing issues

+ Work collaboratively with other functional areas in root cause analysis and problem resolution

+ Engage customers in billing process change recommendations and managing customer expectations

+ Train and assist account management team in billing practices to mitigate customer inquiry case work

+ Applies knowledge of standard OptiFreight processes to resolve unmatched transactions

+ Process customer PO Files, customer File Shares, and customer reporting as required

+ Review customer transactions prior to invoicing to ensure accuracy

+ Attend internal and external meetings associated with problem solving billing issues for specific customers

+ Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, SEQL Server, and other OptiFreight systems

Qualifications

+ Bachelors degree in business related field, or equivalent work experience preferred

+ Knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.

+ Experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.

+ Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.

+ Ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.

+ Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.

+ Works on projects of limited scope and complexity

+ Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems

+ Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions

+ Develops competence by performing structured work assignments

Anticipated hourly range: $21.50 per hour – $30.69 per hour
