CTG is seeking to fill a Banking Services Operations Associate III opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

Duration: 4 months
Overview:
Perform skilled clerical duties requiring simple analysis and expanded use of judgment within assigned banking services department.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review account opening documentation for accuracy and completeness for automobile, boat and recreational vehicle (RV) loans.
- Book these loans to Bank systems.
- Fund the loans to external dealerships.
- Identify errors in account opening paperwork; escalate as appropriate to ensure prompt resolution.
- Ensure personal booking batches balance at the end of each day and reconcile any discrepancies to ensure accurate internal accounting.
- Electronically attach incoming loan closing documentation to applicable loan application in the system of record.
- Enter financial data from loan contract into system of record.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.
- Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the Company brand.
- Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
- High School or GED.
- Minimum two years relevant work experience.
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Associates Degree.
- Three to five years office experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
