Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis , a rapidly growing small business in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Chief, Army Air and Ground Programs to join our team.

Role

As Chief, Army Air and Ground Programs, you will play a pivotal role in driving our continued success in the Army government contracting sector. You will leverage your deep industry expertise and relationship-building skills to secure new contracts, cultivate strong client relationships, and ensure our continued growth within the government market.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to corporate initiatives and to the culture of Cepeda.
• Provide leadership to managing groups and employees within the organization whose work ranges across various disciplines within the Army DEVCOM AvMC, Aviation, and Missile community.
• Work closely with Cepeda Executive Leadership to define, develop, and achieve Army Air and Ground Program goals and objectives.
• Implements, communicates, and manages the strategic direction of Cepeda’s Army Air and Ground Programs.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key government decision-makers and industry partners within Army DEVCOM AvMC, Aviation, and Missile communities.
• Proactively identify upcoming government and industry partners hiring needs that align with our company's capabilities.
• Routinely target and initiate contact with prospective customers in new or existing accounts to generate new business opportunities, help increase revenue with existing clients, and ensure customer satisfaction at the highest levels.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with employees, government officials, and industry partners.
• Proven track record of success in Army program management.
• Strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the government contracting industry.

• Experience/Relationships within the DEVCOM AvMC S3I Organization.
• Proven ability to identify upcoming government hiring needs.
• A network of established contacts within the Army Air and/or Ground community.
