A Client Care Specialist 2 contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to clients and people seeking STI testing at wellness clinics. Within their duties of accurately collecting new patient medical history, collecting samples such as urine, blood and other specimen, and documenting all patient health-related complaints, this position has the opportunity to give standout service that enhances the reputation of AHF, encourage clients to continue to seek medical treatment from an AHF Wellness Center and recommend our services to others.

 

By providing clients with an excellent clinical experience including skilled phlebotomy work, and follow through on test/procedures ordered by providers, the Cient Care Specialist 2 can help ensure client is receiving the highest quality of care.

 

The Client Care Specialist 2 can enhance the experience of other members of the Wellness Clinic staff, by lending a helpful hand when needed, and thinking of their role as collaborative, rather than exclusive. In addition, Medical Assistants for Wellness are willing to travel to the different Wellness Center locations in Los Angeles to provide coverage.

 

The Client Care Specialist 2 adds consistent value to the Wellness Team by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible.

 

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 

Education and/or Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

Mathematical Skills

Basic Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability

Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Other Skills & Abilities/Qualifications

Previous experience with medical front office a plus.

 

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program with certification.

Current CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) License required.
