Job Description - Contact Center Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:


Lyft is seeking a Contact Center Specialist to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a full-time remote position with entry-level seniority, perfect for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field. The ideal candidate will be dedicated and independent, with a strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and efficient manner. 2. Assist customers with booking rides, troubleshooting issues, and providing general support for Lyft services. 3. Escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate team for resolution. 4. Document all customer interactions accurately in the company's CRM system. 5. Provide feedback to management on customer trends and common issues for continuous improvement.


Requirements: 1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 2. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. 3. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 4. Proficiency in using CRM software and other customer service tools. 5. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
