Controls Service Engineer : Responsible for providing accurate and timely service of Controls and HVAC equipment.
Essential Duties:
- To provide accurate and timely service of controls and HVAC equipment as directed
- Perform general maintenance of controls and HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot / repair / maintain controls and HVAC systems
- Maintain skill levels as required
- Provide Service Operations with daily time and service tickets
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Completion of 5 year apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Must have minimum one Journeyman license within MD, DC, VA and must have all three within six months of hire
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC industry
- Must have CFC certification
- Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
- Niagara Certification is a plus
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Valid driver's license and excellent driving record required
- Ability to safely drive commercial van loaded with tools in busy DC traffic
- Frequent visits to job sites, ability to climb ladders, bend and kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a frequent basis
- Being able to work indoor and outdoor through all seasonal changes
