Customer Account Manager

Position: Account Manager (HYBRID)

Location: Lockport, IL

Worksite Arrangement: Hybrid 2-3days/week in office

Salary: $50k-$60k, DOE

Overview:

Avenica is currently evaluating talent for a Customer Account Manager in the logistics and transportation industry. This person will be responsible for monitoring customer orders, assist with requests or resolving issues related to orders, and building strong relationships with your assigned account(s). No prior industry experience required, great opportunities for long-term growth!

Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

• Serve as an advocate for the customer, assisting with customer service-related questions, problems, and issue resolutions.
• Monitor orders and collaborate with the supervisor, customers, operations, and sales representatives to ensure customers’ requests are being answered.
• Proactively engage with customers to cultivate strong working relationships and maintain an open dialogue at all times.
• Track, follow-up, and resolve the customers' outstanding issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare documentation and reports for the customer base such as customer QBR’s

Requirements of the Account Manager:

• 2+ years of experience in customer or client service, building and maintaining customer relationships
• High School Diploma required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work independently and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
