Job Description - Customer Service

Customer Relations Manager

 

SmartTalent is hiring a Customer Relations Manager at a manufacturing facility in Everett, WA. This is a Temp-to-hire opportunity.

 

Pay: $22-24/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Update customers when their due dates cannot be met due to delays in production.

• Interface with all levels of Materials, Production, Engineering, and Quality Assurance staff.

• Serves as the liaison person and performs general customer service, sales and marketing tasks to support the sales department

• Facilitate customer expedite requests.

• Basic word processing and data entry.

• Prompt communication with customers.

• Processes all orders, answers all customer service calls and emails

• Confirms all new orders to customers in writing

• Understand customer quality requirements and facilitate proper communication of these requests.

• Update reports to accurately reflect on-going schedule changes.

• Issue Return Material Authorization numbers to customers for discrepant material being sent back for review.

• Resolve all customer service issues immediately and notify management.

• Enter shipping requirements for customer orders.

• Communicate Failure Analysis reports back to customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to establish and build a strong rapport with customers through establishing trust and credibility.

• Be familiar with Kan ban and blanket order processing.

• Understand change order process and update necessary documents.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and/or college related courses

• Ability to communicate effectively showing excellent written and verbal communications skills with a diverse group of people

• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and prioritize tasks as needed

• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, and Outlook)

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands

• Technical literacy a plus
