Job Description - Customer Service in Heavy Equipment

Job Title: Inside Sales Representative Location: Sacramento, CA Company Overview: Join a rapidly expanding team servicing the heavy equipment industry. Our company is experiencing exponential growth, and we are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our Inside Sales team. As an integral part of our customer-focused approach, you will play a pivotal role in exceeding customer expectations and driving sales growth. Job Description: As a Bilingual Inside Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, both existing and potential. Your responsibilities will include promptly and professionally addressing incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions. You will utilize your exceptional problem-solving skills and industry knowledge to assist customers in identifying and obtaining the correct parts to optimize productivity and minimize downtime. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with outside account executives, promoting our products and services to generate new business opportunities. This role involves heavy computer use, inventory control, and order processing, with a strong emphasis on providing superior customer service and exceeding expectations. Key Responsibilities:
• Promptly and professionally handle all incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Identify customer needs and provide informed sales suggestions, educating customers on product benefits and specifications
• Assist customers in obtaining the correct parts to optimize productivity and decrease machine downtime
• Collaborate with outside account executives to refer and assist with new account acquisition
• Maintain a high level of product, market, and industry knowledge
• Process orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing ERP systems for order entry
• Generate accurate quotes for custom fabricated construction equipment based on customer requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a superior customer experience
• Act as a team player, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team and company objectives
Qualifications:
• High school education required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Spanish Required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in parts counter service, inside sales, or related field
• Strong background in steel construction parts and heavy equipment industry preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; knowledge of Great Plains or Global Shop Software a plus
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively
• Self-motivated and passionate about delivering results
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Competitive hourly rate ($24.00 - $26.00 per hour) with potential for commission
