Job Description - Customer Service Representative

Looking to make your next career move? Kelly is hiring for a Customer Service Representative in Lowell, MA! This is a great opportunity to join the team at an international leader in transport systems solutions.

  • Permanent role

  • Full time, Monday-Friday

  • Onsite position

  • $25-30/hr

Summary

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer or service management inquiries

  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone or email providing accurate information and assistance

  • Create quotations for parts orders and repairs

  • Create return orders

  • Create customer invoicing related to parts and repair orders

  • Process orders received from customers; verify order details, pricing, and availability

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.

  • Perform follow up activities related to open customer orders including shipping updates and tracking information

  • Ensure accurate tracking of inventory and coordinate with warehouse personnel to ship orders in a timely manner.

  • Ensure orders are shipped using appropriate shipping methods

  • Address any concerns or issues raised by customers regarding their orders

  • Generate reports on sales, inventory levels, and order fulfillment metrics as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of business-to-business customer service experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience in a technical or manufacturing environment a plus
