Job Description - CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGER

Job Summary

The Customer Success Manager is responsible for supporting the onboarding of new business to Foodbuy’s GPO program as part of the Member Success team. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes client engagement during onboarding as the single point of contact to ensure a seamless transition
  • Facilitates planning sessions with each client to understand business needs to create, maintain and execute against a project plan tailored to each client
  • Collaborates with Foodbuy teams and external suppliers to support a full procurement partnership offering
  • Maximizes program participation quickly and efficiently until key deliverables are achieved
  • Supports onboarding team efforts and activities for large-scale client needs to ensure all tasks are completed

 

Client Engagement:

  • Eagerness to develop and maintain winning relationships with clients and team members
  • Identifies program opportunities and obtains client commitment to action against opportunities
  • Manages client expectations while maintaining a positive relationship and successful onboarding experience

 

Project Management:

  • Highly organized, multi-tasker 
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Maintains project plans
  • Manages and prioritizes multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
  • Leads projects to successful outcomes, build consensus amongst teams, and proactively raises risks/roadblocks for resolution support
  • Effective communicator
  • Recognizes and solves problems quickly

 

Results Driven:

  • Actively drives key performance metrics
  • Ability to run routine reports to evaluate and assess data trends 
  • Analyzes and interprets performance metrics and financials 

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of client relationship management experience required (preferably within the Hospitality, Foodservice or related industry)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications is required, including heavy utilization of PowerPoint, Excel, and Dynamics
  • Ability to travel intermittently 
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills--proven ability to engage others and handle interactions with individuals or groups to obtain commitment, compromise or settlement in a way that promotes win-win solutions and mutual goals or interests
