Position: Delivery Manager
Reports to: Operations Manager
Basic Purpose: As Delivery Manager, your job is to ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery, professionalism, and on-call availability for both customers and employees.
Basic Duties:
- Assist operations manager with screening, scheduling, and interviewing potential employees.
- Training and evaluating new team members for process compliance and safety standards.
- Team development and risk analysis (ie. Ensuring RA acquire class D and Driver/Helper best fit).
- Monitoring overtime hours and implementing changes for overall reduction.
- Managing and reporting on manpower status daily.
- Confirming/maintaining delivery equipment and escalating any potential issues that may prevent on-time delivery.
- Auditing company vehicles for cleanliness and maintenance needs.
- Auditing customer accounts for market compliance.
- Daily communication with sales department on market strategy, price changes, display implementations, and frequency changes.
- Assisting with routing, re-routing and sequencing of all current or new delivery routes.
- Implementing special projects or requests and reporting on the outcome of the changes.
- Supporting in the market when required to do so.
Basic Requirements:
- Class A driver’s license

- High School diploma or equivalent (Some college preferred)
