Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Director of Memory & Psychosocial Services position.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination of integrated, comprehensive services and support for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers across all levels of living for communities within the organization. Responsible for communicating, coordinating, and supporting programs and initiatives aligned with Acts cognitive well-being and memory care vision. This individual will work collaboratively across disciplines to ensure best practice and innovative programming, services, and supports for residents living with dementia and their caregivers and will contribute specialized expertise in social services. Specific focus areas will include, but are not limited to, facilitating new memory care initiatives within communities, supporting engagement and programming, creating and facilitating brain health initiatives, providing behavioral management support, designing and overseeing implementation of caregiver education and support services, providing staff education and consultation, and offering technical assistance for implementation of memory care programs, services, and policies at the community level.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (i.e., gerontology, social work, psychology, or related field)
  • Evidence of specialized training in gerontology and/or dementia
  • Minimum of five years’ leadership experience in long-term care, memory care, or dementia related services and/or social services setting
  • Experience in providing education and training to professionals and stakeholders

$91,000.00 - $115,000.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
