Job Description - Director, Sales - Enterprise Content Services

YOUR IMPACT

As a Sales Director for Enterprise Content Services at OpenText, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the digital transformation of our customers. You'll lead and inspire a team of high-performing Account Executives to deliver sophisticated, secure, high-value, and cost-effective EIM solutions. Your leadership will directly contribute to the success and satisfaction of some of the largest companies in the world, helping them embrace the digital world and achieve their strategic goals. Your efforts will impact the way businesses manage their most important information, driving innovation and efficiency.


WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Grow customer satisfaction across your assigned region by providing exemplary service and support.
• Lead and direct a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quota targets.
• Develop, implement, and measure regional sales strategies and plans with accurate forecasts.
• Assist in sales efforts, legal contracting, and resolving customer issues.
• Attract, engage, and retain a team of high-performing Account Executives.
• Train, develop, and guide your team in product knowledge, time and territory management, and competitive knowledge.
• Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and host regularly scheduled performance reviews.
• Participate in various headquarters and regional planning and training activities. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s Degree and significant enterprise software sales experience with prior sales leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of the Enterprise Information Management market, its competitors, partners, and related industries.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed regional sales targets.
• Passion for leading a team and demonstrated ability to drive results through others.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to manage strategic plans with partner and company executives.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and employ creative and effective decision-making to solve problems and achieve results.
• Knowledge of and connections within key accounts in the region is considered an asset.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Estimate Base Salary: $200,000 USD - $225,000 USD
