LOCATION:

Oshkosh, WI

Position summary:

This position plays a key role in ensuring that Glaziers on job sites have the materials necessary to complete projects. This employee delivers the supplies and equipment to worksites throughout the state on a daily basis using company vehicles. They will also assist with the loading and unloading of said supplies and equipment along with maintaining shop organization and cleanliness.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

  • Drives company truck safely, according to all laws, and with courtesy for other drivers.
  • Using pick lists loads trucks with product for delivery or picks up supplies from hardware stores.
  • Delivers equipment and supplies to job sites in a timely manner to ensure work is not stopped.
  • On occasion may be tasked with picking up supplies or fuel for field employees as needed.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Inspect all orders prior to delivery.
  • Continuously works in a manner to ensure safety of self and others.
  • Performs general shop maintenance, housekeeping and puts away equipment in an organized manner.
  • Maintains accurate inventory counts, re-orders supplies as necessary.
  • Tracks all inventory and equipment through materials program.
  • Cleans and inspects all equipment.
  • Hours may vary based on business need and location of delivery.

  • High school diploma or equivalent - Required
  • Past delivery or construction experience - Preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license - Required
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team- Required
  • Ability to work professionally with others - Required
  • Effective oral and written communication skills - Required
  • Experience with hand and power tools - Preferred
  • Basic computer skills - Required
  • Able to follow instructions - Required
  • Ability to use a forklift - Preferred (will train)
  • Must be flexible to work mandatory overtime hours as needed which can include 2nd or 3rd shift as required by shut down projects. - Required

  • Constantly required to sit long periods of time. Frequently required to stand and/or walk, reach above shoulders, bend, twist, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • Constantly required to use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools or controls.
  • Frequently gripping, cupping and clamping hand and wrist motions are required to support, carry and maneuver objects to platform heights of three feet in a manner considered safe for self and others.
  • Constantly lift and/or move up to 25 - 50 pounds
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 - 75 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 - 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

( Occasionally -1-25% of the time; frequently 26-75% of the time; constantly =76-100% of the time)
