EMT Parts Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain machine recommended stocking list for distributors.
• Assist warehouse or warranty department in identifying unlabeled return parts.
• Assists Parts Customer Support Representatives with alternative parts solutions.
• Measures and confirms parts to drawings when requested.
• Coordinates local fabrication of parts for purchasing department.
• Assists in training new parts team members on machine and parts verbiage.
• Rectifies parts catalogue errors with appropriate factory.
• Research to identify parts for old series non-electronic catalogued machines.
• Coordinates with EMT service shop for technical part questions.
• Coordinates removal of parts from stock machines or assemblies to fill critical parts orders.

Competencies

• Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED with a minimum of ten years of work experience in related field.
• Ability to effectively influence and gain credibility with internal and external customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience across all levels of organizations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Knowledge of software and online systems related to parts and warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle a demanding workload and conflicting priorities in a time-sensitive, rapidly changing environment.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, hydraulic and electric system schematics.
