Job Description - Entry Level Customer Service/Event Fundraiser

At Ultimate Charities we are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community through fundraising events that support important causes. We believe in the power of bringing people together to create meaningful change.

We are seeking a passionate and energetic individual to join our team as an Entry Level Customer Service/Event Fundraiser. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with donors, supporters, and event participants while contributing to the success of our mission-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries and support related to fundraising events, providing excellent customer service both online and offline.
  • Engage with donors, sponsors, and event participants to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
  • Assist with event registration, ticket sales, and donation processing using fundraising platforms and databases.
  • Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, including venue setup, signage, and volunteer management.
  • Support marketing and promotion efforts for events through social media outreach, email campaigns, and community engagement.
  • Assist in recruiting and coordinating volunteers for events, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Collect and organize donor and participant data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Assist with post-event activities, including donor acknowledgments, event recaps, and analysis of fundraising results.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices in event fundraising and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Passion for customer service and helping others, with a commitment to excellence in every interaction.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute.
  • Previous experience in customer service, event planning, or fundraising is a plus but not required.
