Fleet Service Technician

Chapman Chevrolet’s Fleet Service Center is growing rapidly, so we are seeking experienced Fleet Service Technicians to join our team! As a Fleet Service Technician, you will help us deliver high quality vehicle maintenance, and professional diagnostics and repairs to our commercial clients. When you join our team, you will work in team-oriented environment, frequently collaborating with other technicians, Service Consultants and the Parts Department. Core Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Execute work specified on the repair order to dealership standards
• Communicate additional services needed to the Service Consultant, providing an estimate of time needed to complete additional repairs
• Complete warranty repair work following manufacturer guidelines

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of fleet vehicles required; experience working on Isuzu fleet trucks is preferred
• ASE and/or GM certifications are ideal
• Must have your own tools
• Concentrated and thorough, demonstrating strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• General computer skills
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background check

Hours and Work Environment Our Fleet Service Center is open Monday - Friday from 7am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 8am to 12pm.
