**Food Service Assistant at Providence Portland Medical Center (Full-Time, Nights Schedule)**


**$2,000 hiring/sign-on bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.**


Must have comprehensive knowledge of, and be compliant with, specified regulatory requirements, and food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health care environment. Proper sanitation procedures and practices must be following to assure the cleanliness and sanitation of ware-washing, service-ware, equipment in the work area.


**Required qualification:**


+ National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire


**Preferred qualifications:**


+ 1 year of experience in retail dining or patient dining with emphasis on customer service and food handling


+ 1 year of computer experience, patient interaction, and food service experience.


+ Experience in health care facility or large food service operation


+ 1 year of experience in or Dietary kitchen using 'therapeutic diets'


+ 1 year of cashiering experience


+ 1 year of barista experience
