Job Description - Front Desk Customer Service Specialist

Summary

As a Front Desk Customer Service Specialist you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth front desk operations. Your core responsibilities will include addressing client inquiries, solving problems, updating account histories, and adhering to SLAs. You will also manage administrative tasks such as document verification, correspondence, and data processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. With a minimum of two years of customer service experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, you will play a vital role in our mission to deliver outstanding service and maintain an organized front desk environment.

Your role in our mission

  • Provide knowledgeable responses to basic client questions; escalate more complex cases to appropriate staff as needed.
  • Solve client problems, update account history, and follow up with clients to confirm their inquiries or requests are resolved.
  • Adhere to the client's Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and consistently meet production targets.
  • Work closely with team members, management, and clients to resolve client inquiries.
  • Cross-train new resources in customer service processes.
  • Review and recommend changes to procedures and workflows to process client inquiries more efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure front desk operations run smoothly, providing a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors and clients.

What we're looking for

  • Verify and audit documents to ensure accuracy, checking numerical data against input or reports.
  • Prepare document batches for data entry and imaging.
  • Respond to written inquiries such as correspondence.
  • Photocopy and file reports and documents, and type forms or labels as required.
  • Process and track a variety of forms and/or mail to ensure efficient and accurate processing of data.
  • Interpret, audit, and reconcile reports for accuracy or completeness, and prepare and maintain reports for management and clients.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient front desk area, managing supplies and resources effectively.

  • Work location: Perform duties at 6055 N 64th St, Milwaukee, WI 53218, ensuring seamless office operations.

The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
