Snapshot:
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Going through August with possible extensions.
Pay Rate: $22 / hour.
Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-4:30PM
Fully remote but must reside in Minnesota
What’s a typical day as a Health Support Coordinator? You’ll be:
• Reviewing, analyzing, and completing reports based on departmental needs
• Collaborating across departments to ensure both member and provider needs are met
• Updating member information in the system as needed
• Maintaining strict confidentiality to ensure the security of members' protected health information (PHI)
• Updating and maintaining various Excel-based reports
• Performing data entry of prior authorization information
• Conducting outbound calls to facilities and providers to obtain information as needed
• Other duties as assigned; responsibilities may vary from day to day, depending on department needs and priorities
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Have at least 1 year of customer service experience
• Have successfully completed the provided training
• Have demonstrated skills as an empathetic and compassionate communicator
• Can quickly gain customer trust and confidence
• Have demonstrated PC navigation and data entry skills; comfortable navigating multiple systems
• Are proficient with the MS Office Suite
• Have strong interpersonal communication skills
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Are a quick learner with strong attention to detail and flexibility to work on various priorities that may vary day to day, based on enterprise and department needs
• Exhibit positive, professional, service-oriented behavior
Nice to Have:
• Familiarity and understanding of Medical Terminology
• Previous office experience within a healthcare or health plan setting
