Berkley Technology Services: Right Team, Right Technology, Simple and Secure.  

The ITSM System Administrator is responsible for the development and sustained support of the ServiceNow IT Service Management system. The System Administrator will provide on-going technical assistance in the following areas:

• Form design and workflow administration
• Developing and executing reports in the ServiceNow tool
• Scripting to customize software functionality per requirements
• Document and execute test case scenarios
• 1st and 2nd level support of break/fix issues related to ServiceNow tool

• Registered undergraduate student pursuing a major in an IT-related degree with a preferred overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• At least 2 years coursework or equivalent experience in Information Technology
• Demonstrated usage and understanding of web- based user interface, i.e. ordering from Amazon
• Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.)
• Familiarity with using SQL and PowerShell, a plus
• Experience in requirements gathering, including experience in creating process documentation
• Must be able to communicate with technical and non- technical individuals and teams
• Aggressive curiosity
• Desire to learn
• Attention to detail

• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Interest in a technical career in the field of Information Security
• Commitment to the duration of the six month CO-OP Program

• Participation in extracurricular and leadership activities a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus
