Our client seeks a manufacturing engineer I at their central Illinois facility to develop manufacturing processes while working on projects to enhance quality and safety and reduce costs. In this role, you will also work with manufacturing engineering and operations to anticipate and resolve production issues. Position Overview
- Responsible for ongoing quality and safety enhancement and cost reduction projects
- Work closely with manufacturing engineering and operations to anticipate and resolve manufacturing issues
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes within the facility
- Provide manufacturing engineering information to customers
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or the equivalent of experience and education required
- At least 1 to 3 years manufacturing engineering experience
- Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes such as metal fabrication, welding and assembly preferred
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software
